Barbie has achieved a remarkable global revenue of $774 million, while The Batman concluded its theatrical run with a close figure of $766 million.

Greta Gerwig’s latest directorial endeavor appears poised to shatter box office records, driven by the enduring enthusiasm surrounding the Barbie phenomenon.

In a recent milestone, Barbie has outperformed a 15-year record for Monday box office success within the Warner Bros. film portfolio, a record previously held by The Dark Knight.

Under the guidance of Oscar-nominated writer and director Greta Gerwig, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling impeccably cast as Barbie and Ken, this cinematic journey propels Mattel Inc.’s iconic doll into a captivating adventure in the real world.

Earlier, the esteemed production company Warner Bros. proudly proclaimed that the joint efforts of Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie had propelled their creation past the remarkable $1 billion threshold, both domestically in the United States and on a global scale, a mere fortnight after its initial release.

Over the past weekend alone, the film garnered an impressive $459 million from within the United States and an additional $572.1 million internationally, culminating in a staggering overall collection of $1.0315 billion.

Based on its domestic opening weekend sales, ‘Barbie’ has rightfully emerged as the reigning top-grossing movie of the year. These numbers have been duly authenticated by the media analytics firm Comscore, confirming the statistical accomplishments presented by Warner Bros.
